Keeping Love Alive
Keep that spark going, or get it back!
Podcasting is a relationship
Most of you are podcasters, right? What do you love about podcasting? What do you do to nurture your relationship with your podcast? Because it really is a relationship.
Think about everything that goes into making your podcast. You have to feed it, water it, nurture it, keep the spark alive. Sometimes it ebbs and flows. Sometimes you want some space or to add some new spice. And always, you have a reason you podcast, something you’re striving for.
This month’s prompt: Joy. Joy is uplifting. Joy is resistance. Joy can help you get involved and stay connected. What brings you joy in this time right now? If you make a new podcast episode about love or joy or already have a published one, send it our way so we can share.
And please let us know what you love about podcasting and how you keep that love alive!

Presentations
POD Access loves amplifying work by d/Deaf and disabled podcasters and getting more people into the Pod Library and the Skill Share. We had a wonderful time presenting at the San Francisco Disability Cultural Center in 2025. And shout-out to Dr. Sara M. Acevedo at the University of Maryland College Park Unity Center for inviting us to do a podcasting workshop for students and a brown bag conversation about creative and culturally-responsive media access. This is an event for the University of Maryland community, but let us know if you want POD Access to deliver a presentation, speak on a panel, or do a fun, hands-on workshop with your agency, department, or group.
Join the library
Submit your podcast. Share with all the d/Deaf and disabled podcasters you know so we can grow the pod library! And join our Skill Share if you have skills podcasters are looking for like editing, graphic design, transcribing, marketing, or branding.
